Vermont's 1828 Reunion House is the quintessential Vermont farmhouse and lodge 6 miles from Okemo Mountain Resort. The farmhouse was built in 1828 and has retained its hand-hewn wide planked floors and spacious windows. The attached lodge living room boasts a wood-burning fireplace and is a redesign from the original barn. The 1828 House is ideal for large family reunions with a sleeping capacity of sixteen.

Lovingly cared for by two families who snowboard in the winter at Okemo and hike the Green Mountains in the summer, The 1828 House, is shared with those with a similar passion.

Golden memories by those looking to reconnect with old friends or bring the family together for a special occasion are created within this historic home. With two kitchens, two dining areas, eight bedrooms, and ten acres, there is ample room for all.

Weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and college reunions have taken place at The 1828 House. There have even been corporate retreats!

Formally an English Antique Shop, The 1828 House retains many furnishings and artwork which make it suitable for creative workshops.
