The Farmhouse Bedroom

The downstairs Farmhouse master bedroom is called The Lincoln Bedroom and boasts an English Antique Pencil Post Canopy double bed. Original floor length French lace curtains hang at the large double paned windows which overlook the back field and the Williams’ River.  An English writing desk (covered for protection), two dressers, a rocking chair and an additional single bed are found in this spacious room.  A non working fireplace is framed by built in bookcases.  The soft rose colored walls are complimented by the wide plank flooring and antique throw rugs. This is the perfect room for a couple with a child or someone requiring a first floor master suite.

KennedyThe upstairs bedroom is referred to as The Kennedy Bedroom and has a Cast Iron queen canopy bed which was imported from England.  A dresser, mirror, two sitting chairs and a small writing desk, all antiques, complete this room which overlooks the barn and has a northerly view of Proctorville Gulf.  The plaster walls are painted light lavender and offer a soothing respite. Knee wall closets hold extra blankets and winter apparel, which may be used by our guests.

Quincy AdamsNamed the Quincy Adams, the other upstairs bedroom has an antique double bed, dresser, mirror and sitting chair.  This room receives the early morning sunlight and has and southerly views across Smokeshire Road to the Williams River.  A small bunk bed room is adjacent and offers additional sleeping space for children. Quaint and cozy, this room is a favorite quiet spot.
