From the New
Jersey Turnpike, take Exit 11 to the New Jersey State Parkway to the New
York State Thruway (the NJ Parkway ends in the NY Thruway).
Follow New
York Thruway to Exit #23 Albany to 787 north.
Follow 787 North approximately 6 miles to NY Rte 7 East (Exit 9E).
Follow
Rte. 7 East 29 miles (Welcome to Vermont!!) into Bennington Vermont (note NY
Rte 7 becomes VT Rte 9 in Vermont).
Turn
Left at the third light in Bennington onto VT Rte. 7 North and proceed 1.5
miles to Rte 7 north (it becomes an expressway).
Follow VT
Rte. 7 for approximately 21 miles and take exit #4 to Rte 11 East.
Follow Rte
11 East for 13.5 miles to Londonderry and make a left onto Rte 100.
Follow Route 100
for 8.2 miles
where it makes a right hand turn towards Ludlow. Follow Rte 100 to its end
in downtown Ludlow.
At the
“T” intersection in Ludlow (the end of 100) turn right onto Rte 103 south
and follow 6.3 miles, the house is the first house on the right following
“Proctorsville Gulf” which is a winding mountain pass. As you emerge from
the Gulf (or pass) there’s a field to the right and the house with a large
sign reading “1828 House”.
